Class Descriptions
Intro to Yoga
Monday 9:00am –
10:15am
Explores the fundamentals of yoga poses and basic alignment.
Learn how to move in and out of different poses and flows safely. Learn to
breathe into the body and let that breath guide your movements building
strength, balance and flexibility. Work with basic breathing techniques to
bring the mind to a state of peace and allow a greater relaxation and
meditation. This is a great class for adult beginners or people who want a
slower yoga class.

Gentle Yoga
Tuesday & Thursday, 10:30am – 11:45am
Gentle Yoga is a class designed for people who want a slower
pace and extra support of props for added stability and balance. It is suitable
for all levels as well as those with specific conditions or injuries. Each
person will be accommodated where they are. No prior experience is required.
Postures and breath are introduced in a stress-free, non-competitive and
supportive environment.

Yoga Level 1
Wednesday & Friday, 9:00am - 10:15am
This class concentrates on centering, warm-ups, classic yoga
postures and resting poses are described and demonstrated in detail. Students
will be guided and assisted in postures leading to greater awareness,
stability, strength and flexibility. This class is appropriate for both
beginning and experienced students.

Mixed Levels
Monday through Thursday, 5:30pm - 6:45pm
and Saturday 9:00pm - 10:15pm
Practice developing balance, flexibility and strength with
students of all levels: beginners as well as intermediate and advanced students
are welcome. We practice together following our breath and our inner experience
to find the level that is perfect for us. Modifications on poses are offered
for varying levels.

Meditation from the Tantras
Monday, & Wednesday - 6:55pm - 7:30pm
Tantra is an ancient science dealing with many different
systems for increasing the speed of human evolution. This class is based in
tantra and provides practical techniques that aim at turning every action of
life into an act of wholesome living by opening and exploring the subtle layers
of the mind and expanding the consciousness. Featuring practices such as chakra
meditations, visualizations, self-inquiry, tratak, mantra meditations, yoga
nidra etc. This class will aim at cultivating an essential foundation for all
advanced meditation practices.
